Edit Location User Settings

With the right permissions, you can edit user information, such as the name, phone number, and email address. You can also view and edit user permissions, the user's associated brokers, email preferences, eligible insurers, and transactors.

 

  1. Navigate to the User List screen by clicking the Users tab.
  2. Click the User ID hyperlink for the appropriate user.
  3. Edit information as needed in any of the sections on the Edit User screen.
  4. Click Save.
Hints:

Once created, the User Name cannot be changed.

To Delete a location user, click Delete User at the bottom of the Edit User screen.

After clicking the Regenerate AMS Token button, the AMS Token field repopulates with a new set of random characters. Users use one AMS Token across all Associated Broker locations.

On the Edit User screen for the logged-in user's own account, the Permissions section and Associated Brokers panel are not editable.

CDI users and SLA users cannot update their own user account information.

CDI users cannot update the user account information of other CDI users.

SLA users cannot update the user account information of other SLA users.
